Here is another reasoning based set

Top B-school of the country selects the students based on their performances in two parameters
the Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Group Discussion & Personal Interview(GDPI). On the basis of
their performances, the students are given scores out 10 in each parameter. Since both the parameters
are equally important, the B-school then calculates the final scores of the students by taking the product
of the two individual scores. This product is called the final score of the candidate. The B-school then
declares 4 lists based on the final score of the candidate. Namely,
Rejected List , Waitlist 1, Waitlist 2 & Selected List.

The following table gives partial information about 8 students : Andy, Bob, Charlie, Donald, Eric, Fisher,
Gary, & Hulk.

Further it is known that,
a) No student has the final score of less than or equal to 10.
b) If the final score is in the range of 0-20, then the student is placed in rejected list.
c) If the final score is in the range of 21-50, then the student is placed in Waitlist 2.
d) If the final score is in the range of 51-75, then the student is placed in Waitlist 1.
e) If the final score is in the range of 76-100, then the student is placed in Selected list.
f) Exactly two students got equal scores in GDPI.
g) The number of students in each list is same.
h) Gary is placed in rejected list.
i) Eric obtained a higher GDPI score than Andy and a higher final score than Hulk.
j) Exactly two students got equal scores in WAT.
k) The WAT score of Bob was greater than his GDPI score and neither of his scores was greater than 7.

A) 5 B) 6 C) 7 D) Cannot be Determined

Q.2 What is the final score obtained by Donald?

Q.3 Which of the following is true?
(I) Fisher obtained the lowest final score.
(II) The final score of Andy is at least 30.
A) Only I is true.
B) Only II is true.
C) Both I & II are true.
D) Neither I nor II is true.

Q.4 Which of the following students were listed in waitlist 1?
A) Andy & Charlie B) Andy & Donald C) Charlie & Donald D) Andy & Fisher
