In a circle chords ab and cd intersect perpendicularly at p. If ap= 20, pb= 36, and cp= 24, then the perimeter of the circle is.

Perimeter of circle is 2pi(793)^1/2.

Hi Amrita,
Let the radius of the larger circle R. So
AB × BC = FB² ( Chord Intersection Theorem)
R (R-42) = (R -24)²
R = 96
Now AC = AD - CD = 2 × 96 -28 = 150
Radius of the smaller circle => AC/2 = 75
