Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)

The two-year PGP, leading up to a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), is designed to equip students with the skills and capabilities that will enable them to reach responsible global positions in management.

Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM)

Catalyzed by the Government of India and United Nations Development Programme, the PGPPM is packed with path-breaking insights about winning policy making and management strategies.

Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM)

The PGPEM is a 22-month diploma granting programme, delivered over Friday afternoon and Saturday classes. Designed for working mid-career and senior executives, the PGPEM is tailored to integrate real-world experience with classroom learning.

Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)

An intensive one-year, full-time programme designed to enhance skills and capabilities essential for responsible positions at senior management levels.

Executive Education Programme (EEP)

The EEP caters to a wide variety of organizations in government, the public and private sectors and non-governmental organizations, with open and custom programmes ranging from two days to one year.

Eligibility Criteria and student intake for PGP Program: 

1. Candidates applying must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling. Minimum requisite percentage:

General category: 50% at the graduation level

SC/ST: Passing marks

OBC/PWD/CW: 45% as per university rules or equivalent CGPA.

2. Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination or are awaiting results can also apply.
3. Candidates must be 20 years of age as on 1st of October of the year of admission.

Short listing criteria for Personal Interviews:

The selection criteria for an IIM are divided into two stages. Stage 1- CAT, Stage 2- PI & AWT

First stage is short listing of candidates on the basis of their CAT percentiles cut offs (sectional as well as overall), previous academic record and past experience. Candidates with the minimum sectional and overall cut offs with a more than zero score in all sections are considered for further stages.

Criteria for Final Admission Merit List

All shortlisted candidates from the preliminary stage are called for the AWT (Academic Written Test) and Personal Interviews. The shortlisted candidate is to write for 30minutes on a topic. Also the candidates are required to submit three letters of recommendation for academic purposes.  The final merit list is then prepared basis composite scores of each candidate. Performance at each stage of the round along with particular weight-age to the past academic records, work experience, co-curricular activities and diversity factors form the composite scores.

Weight-age given by IIM Bangalore to different parameters are:

AWT – 10%
PI- 30%
CAT Score- 25%
10th standard- 10%
12th standard – 5%
Bachelor’s degree– 10%
Work experience – 10%

Expenses:

The fee for its flagship two-year postgraduate programme in management (PGPM) is INR 18.7 lakhs exclusive of taxes. In addition students a caution deposit of 20,000 Rs and a mess advance of 25,000 Rs.
