Quant Question Of The Day: 127
Arithmetic
Five men take as much time to do a job as 10 women take. If 6 men take 10 days to complete a job working 4 hours per day, how much time would 10 women take to do a job twice as much as the former working 6 hours a day?
A. 12 days
B. 14 days
C. 16 days
D. 18 days
6 men ≡ 12 women
Number of woman -hours of first job
= 12 × 10 × 4 = 480
Number of woman – hours of second job = 480 × 2 = 960
Time taken by 10 women working 6 hour a day to finish the second job = 960/ ( 10 × 6) = 16 days
