Quant Question Of The Day: 182
Geometry
Rajat has two congruent sheets of paper in triangular shape. He built a parallelogram with them by three different methods. It is known that the perimeters of the three parallelograms are 32, 41 and 43. Find the perimeter of the triangular piece of paper.
Adding them we will get
Suppose sides of the triangle are a, b, c, then
In each of the three cases one of the sides of the triangle will be diagonal of the parallelogram
2(a + b) = 32
2(b + c) = 41
2(c + a) = 43
4(a + b + c) = 116
a + b + c = 29
