The individual earnings of A, B and C are in the ratio 3 : 5 : 8 and their individual spending are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 5. If the individual earnings of A is equal to the individual spending of C, then what is the ratio of the individual savings of B and C?
Let the individual earnings of A, B and C are in the ratio 3x , 5x and 8x respectively. Required ratio = 16 : 25
let their individual spending be 2y, 3y and 5y respectively.
it is given that 3x = 5y
=> y = 3x/5
Individual saving of B = 5x – 3y = 16x/5
Individual saving of C = 8x – 5y = 5x
